Waste Allocation Load Lifter - Earth class

We’ve just watched WALL•E. Don’t expect much in terms of verbal communication. Everything is really about how the characters interact with each other through their action.

The fluid like motion of the characters makes the live footage used in video sequences so believable, as though it is the opposite of our world where animation is what is on video.

Eve is the descendant of the iPod.

EVE is the descendant of the iPod.

WALL•E is not just a story of a robot and his quest for the meaning of his existence, as early promotional material would have you believe. It’s a love story of two characters rising beyond their primary objective.

WALL•E and EVE slowly build their relationship over the firat act and you can see the bond that they share when they dance.

One of the scary things about the movie is the humans. They have become so reliant and comfortable with letting robots run everything, so much so, that they can’t use their limbs properly let alone tear themselves away from their screens to appreciate the beauty of the world around them.

The realization of having to work for what you want rather than taking the easy way out is perhaps the biggest moral lesson from this Pixar film. A bold move considering their track record for keeping friendships their main moral focus. Subtle, but effective I feel. Switching from the virtual utopia that they have on their ship to the rotting wasteland of Earth, shows us that home is home no matter what it is like, and we can’t leave the cleaning up to others.

Above all that, WALL•E is a love story of two beings willing to go to and beyond the ends of the Earth for each other.

Dancing in space.

The many Apple references are a HUGE plus point as well.

Maybe you should consider getting Eve instead of an iPhone. =P

Kudos to their effort in making of the credits! From Van Gogh to 16 bit style.

Yes, the credits depicting the different art forms over the years is also a sign of the rebirth of mankind on the planet.
